How long is the TradeFest 2024 Competition?
The competition is two and a half weeks long, starting from market open between October 1st and ending at the close of the NY trading session on October 18th, 2024.
When does registration open and close?
Registration for the competition opens on September 24th. However, registration will close on October 11th, which is one and a half weeks into the competition.
What instruments can be traded in the competition?
Participants can trade any instruments during the competition.
Is weekend trading allowed?
Yes, weekend trading is allowed during TradeFest 2024.
Can participants engage in news trading?
Yes, news trading is allowed during the competition.
Are trading bots allowed in the competition?
No, the use of trading bots is not allowed in the competition and will disqualify the trader.
How will the winners be determined?
The winners will be the participants with the highest profits at the end of the competition. The actual challenge account that will be used by each trader will have no failing criteria so everyone can continue trading all the way through the competition until the very end. Only one account will be considered per trader and it would be the first account that is opened and traded on.
How many winners will there be?
There will be a total of 8 winners in the Competition.
When will the winners be announced and prizes delivered?
The winners will be announced, and prizes will be delivered by October 23rd, 2024.
What prizes are up for grabs?
Funded accounts and cash prizes are among the rewards that the 8 victorious traders will receive.
If I create multiple competition accounts and I am successful on one or more of them, am I still eligible for. my prizes or multiple prizes?
Each trader is only eligible to compete in the competition with the single FIRST competition account that they open. Any additional accounts or multiple accounts will not be considered and would be disqualified for any prizes.
